RMA Group and Kaiyi, a subsidiary of Chery Group, have officially joined forces to bring Kaiyi’s innovative electric vehicles to Laos. The companies aim to open a flagship showroom and service center in Vientiane by the fourth quarter of 2024.
Kaiyi boasts a global presence with over 500 dealers and 800 service providers across 30 countries and regions, including Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Central and South America, and Southeast Asia.
RMA Group, established in Laos in 1994, has a robust portfolio spanning automotive, heavy equipment, finance, engineering, and food services. Their automotive division represents leading brands such as Ford, Jaguar Land Rover, Mahindra, and JCB.
This strategic partnership marks a significant step for both companies as they seek to expand their footprint in the burgeoning Southeast Asian electric vehicle market.
